On October 15, 2020, Puerto Rico's coffee industry held the Golden Cup competition and specialty coffee grading, a very rigorous evaluation by international caliber cuppers to determine if a coffee is of high quality.
As a curious fact, both mother and son participated in this edition of Taza de Oro and both were selected as Specialty Coffees. We are very proud of this and, for this reason, we have created the "Specialty Coffees" Bundle that features Tres Picachos Gourmet from coffee grower Marta Rivera and Café Don José from coffee grower José Martínez. Mother and son growing and harvesting premium coffee in Jayuya's Barrio Saliente.
